The Teen Mental Health Action Team is a committee under the Steele County Coalition for Healthy Youth, which is managed by the United Way of Steele County.  This committee was formed out of recommendations provided by our analyst during the 2022 Gap Analysis.  The committee has connected with Teens and Parents of Teens across Steele County and have several projects that would improve the quality of life for our teens.  So far, we have created the Mental Health Resource guide, created posters with a QR to these resources and placed at all Middle Schools and High Schools across the county, and created QR Code stickers to affix to the back of Student ID's so that students have access to Mental Health Resources when they need them.

This committee is now moving into the development of safe spaces and programming for our teens, and we need your help to move this work forward.  If you are passionate about helping our teens to live their best quality of life and have a couple hours a month to support this work, please sign up to join this committee now through January 12, 2024!!
